On Wednesday 26th March, members of the Centre for Misfolding Diseases (CMD) raised money and awareness about epilepsy in support of “Purple Day” – the International Day for Epilepsy.
This month the Queer in Chemistry Network (QiCN) held a games night in the Cybercafé. We had over 40 staff and students join us to play boardgames and videogames, share a slice or three of pizza and have a drink in the early evening sun.
The Mature Student Society is a group for mature students and others in the University to meet and socialise. They’ve hosted plenty of meetups this year, including lunches at the Colleges followed by a tour and weekly evening pub events.
Mental Health Awareness Week ran from 12 – 18 May with a theme of community and connection. The University hosted a wide range of events to mark the occasion.
