The first Department Summer Quiz took place on Tuesday 16 June in the Pfizer Lecture Theatre with 16 teams and 56 members of the department competing for the trophy; newly made by our amazing workshop team! With rounds including summer flowers, superheroes, music and world cup flags, it made for a fun, entertaining and relaxed lunchtime.

The summer quiz winning team are depicted in the photo above. The winners are in the backrow from left: Matthew Cotton, Brendan Cullinane (Captain), Daniel Heraghty and Georg Meisl. The quiz organisers are in the front row from left: Emma Solaas and Kathleen Pickett.

Resources in our Department: 

•   The department has 12 reusable Botanic Garden tickets available for staff to sign out from Reception. Tickets should be returned to Reception on the same day. University of Cambridge students have free entry to the Botanic Garden.
•    Pilates continues each Wednesday lunchtime in term time – message Kathleen (kjp45) to be added to the waiting list. 
•    The wellbeing area in the library has a fiction books lending library open to students and staff – ideal for holiday reading material during the summer months.
